In the beginning
The name of Allah
Is Most Gracious,
Most Merciful is.
Section-13
97 O you who believe!
Allah doth it but
Make a trail of it
So you in a little
Matter of game do
Well within this
Reach of its your
Hands and to your
Lances, that He so
May test who fear
Him unseen; so any
Transgress he is
Thereafter will
So have grievous
Penalty for it is.
98 O you who believe!
Kill not game its,
For now in sacred
Precincts or its
In pilgrim garbs,
If any you doth so
On purpose do its,
Compensation of
It is an offering,
Brought to it the
Ka’ba of it a tamed
Animal parallel
To the one that he
Killed, adjudged
By it two just men
Among ye; or by way
Of atonement, the
Feeding of those
Judgments; or its
Equivalent it in
Fasts; that he may
Taste of the harm
Of his deed, Allah
Forgives what is
Past; for that’ so
Iterating Allah
Would exact from
Him the distress;
For Allah is that
Exalted, and Lord
Of assessment is.
